This course is designed to help you lead effective group discussions and encourage positive collaboration.
Course Overview
This in-person course is for people who work with groups, staff teams, volunteers, individuals who use services, or groups involved in or consulted on how work is done.
It aims to:
- Introduce you to the concept of facilitation and how it is different to other styles of working with groups
- Provide you with a set of skills for group facilitation, including specific tools and frameworks for managing group dynamics, and to support useful conversations.
- Provide you with the chance to practice using tools and frameworks in a learning environment.
Learning Outcomes
You will also get the chance to develop a practical plan for implementing your new skills and knowledge in the workplace.
