Falkirk Third Sector

TCV Scotland organises a diverse range of training courses and learning opportunities covering practical conservation skills, habitat management, group leadership and organisation, nature-based arts and crafts, wildlife identification and citizen science. Training participants include interested individuals and students looking to brush-up on their environmental knowledge and experience, and members of community groups keen to use newfound skills to enhance their local environment.

<p>The event has been provided to inform and consult third sector organisations, on the recently announced ‘Long Term Unemployed Intermediate Labour Market Programme’ and how Scottish and Local Government work jointly with public and third sector employers to effectively implement the programme in the Falkirk area, supporting the funded placements allocated to the third sector.  </p><p>This is an great opportunity for public and third sector employers to provided paid work experience placements, combining paid fair work experience with skills, training and industry recognised certification/ accreditation to meet existing and/or emerging labour market and community need.</p>
