Be inspired as the Mallorca Tourism Board recreates the sensual, seasonal delights of this bountiful Balearic island in the City of London for one night only and extends an open invitation to all to join them. A free autumnal evening event designed to inspire and excite, this very special pop-up will see flagship Spanish restaurant Hispania transformed with the scents of citrus and olive groves, almonds, and atmospherically lit with the starlit skies the island is renowned for at this time of year. On arrival you will taste the very air of Mallorca itself, as edible pine bubbles surround you and the taste of the salty sea air rises to greet you. Traditional Mallorcan tapas interpreted by Michelin-starred chef Marcos Moran will be presented to guests throughout the evening, with award-winning local wines accompanying the dishes.Masterchef Spain winner and native Mallorcan Vicky Pulgarin, now an acclaimed caterer, will be co-hosting cookery food demos throughout the evening with BBC Radio 4&#x27;s The Kitchen Cabinet regular panelist Rachel McCormack, broadcaster, writer and expert on Spanish cuisine.Acclaimed British writer and Mallorcan resident Anna Nicholas will also be signing copies of &#x27;The Devil&#x27;s Horn&#x27;, her first venture into fiction set on the island. The iconic venue is part of the historic Lloyds of London building, updated by designer and antique dealer Lorenzo Castillo to embody the spirit of elegant, contemporary Spain.
