About this event

This theme of this Falls Prevention Week this year is ‘From Awareness to Action’, to highlight that falls are not a normal part of ageing.

In fact most falls can be prevented and older adults have the power to reduce their risk of falling. Maintaining physical activity and boosting fitness levels are a key part of reducing the risk of falls.

To help you do so, during Falls Prevention Week, 15th – 19th September 2025, we are running two information sessions, one in Southall and one in Greenford.

At each event there will be information desks from the Ealing Falls Team, Ealing Handyperson service, NRS Equipment, Reablement Team, a Slipper Swap

You can also hear from individuals who have improved their strength and balance following fall and want to share with you the secrets of their success and recovery
