Scratch Coding: Level 2
Want to create your own game in Scratch? Come and join us and take part in our Scratch ‘Hide and Seek’ workshop. In this session, we will use code blocks to create a simple game of hide and seek. We will use the sprites and ‘hide’ button to create a game that scores points when you find the sprite!
We’ll be using the free Scratch website that is available on iPads, Android devices, and laptops.
The workshop is held online via Zoom with an accredited trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team.
Please note:
- As we are a UK-based charity, this workshop is intended for families who are living in the UK.
- This is a friendly, informal workshop intended for families caring for a disabled or seriously ill child or young person. Siblings are welcome.
- You’ll need to have a device to access the internet to take part in the workshop activities.
- To keep your device free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
