Napier University, The Cyber Academy and ENUSEC are delighted to present a free, open-to-all one-day penetration testing event against FanDuel! We invite anyone with the ability or desire to practice their skills against a real company website without risking jail time, with the opportunity to win (very) valuable prizes! There will be staff from FanDuel to assist with finding bugs and help explain the company infrastructure.
 
FanDuel is an Edinburgh based unicorn and one of the world’s biggest Amazon Web Service consumers. Using AWS, FanDuel provides a scalable fantasy gaming platform with the chance to win money on NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, EPL, Champions League, PGA and WNBA. Because they deal with a large audience and money, security is an outmost priority that is required to safeguard the game mechanics, odds and Private Personal Information.

Additionally, to correctly assess and report a security vulnerability, Secarma will be presenting a real case Bug Bounty report. They will show you how to report your findings in a professional way, using a template and top industry knowledge. There will be a simple Bug Bounty challenge with prizes for the best written reports.
 
Please join us and help probe the security of FanDuels online web platform in an ethical and secure manner. The event will begin with an introduction to ethics, responsible security disclosure and registration which allows each participant a get-out-of-jail card in terms of scanning and testing the online website of FanDuel. To increase the chance of discovering bugs, whitelisting of the participants and their connection is required and potential bugs found rewarded through an internal bug-bounty programme using bug crowd.
There will, of course, be free pizza and beer :)
