A good meal starts with a good knife. But a good knife is only useful if you know how to use it! This Father's Day, we invite all fathers to come and learn some knife basics - whether they come alone or with their (adult) children.
With a little help from the Japanese Knife Company and our Fortnum's chef Richie, you will learn some knife essentials - from how best to sharpen and maintain them at home to key chopping techniques.
After practising with a variety of ingredients, you’ll be able to enjoy the fruits of your labour with a sit-down lunch of spatchcocked roast chicken and sides.
