About this event

Create your own unique felt flowers using the ancient art of wet felting.
This workshop is a wonderful introduction to wet felting. You will learn how to handle and layer deliciously soft merino wool fibres, using warm water and soap to transform them into beautifully textured felt flowers. You'll make your own individual felt bloom, which can be combined into a vibrant posy or incorporated into a piece of artwork such as a collage or wall hanging.

In celebration of the National Trust’s Blossom Festival, this session invites you to take inspiration from the delicate beauty of blossom — its colour, softness and sense of renewal — as you craft your flower. Whether you recreate the soft pastels of springtime petals or invent your own botanical design, you'll find plenty of seasonal creativity to explore.
