Fermentation Workshop & Zero Waste Lunch
with Waste Not Rowen and FermenTABLE
Join us for a unique day combining hands-on fermentation skills with a delicious, sustainable dining experience.
This workshop is perfect if you want to:
- Improve your gut health
- Learn practical fermentation techniques
- Reduce food waste and support a sustainable lifestyle
- Connect with a community of like-minded food lovers
During the workshop, you’ll discover the science and history behind fermentation, explore techniques such as cultured condiments, lactic ferments, and dairy ferments, and get hands-on making your own jar to take home. You’ll also enjoy tastings of a wide range of ferments including kombucha, kefir, krauts, condiments, and even fermented chocolate. No prior experience needed — all are welcome!
After the workshop, you’ll sit down to a three-course zero waste lunch designed and cooked by Rowen Halstead, a Michelin-trained chef with a passion for sustainability. The menu is fully vegetarian and will showcase the ferments made in the workshop, alongside creative dishes that minimise food waste. Please let us know any dietary requirements when booking.
