Synopsis: A TV interview on a fictional show ‘España en el Mundo’ where Michael, a journalist for El Pais in English, is asked for his thoughts on living in Spain. The interview takes unexpected turns, as Michael talks through an arduous 2024.

Conciencia is brought to you by Jamie McGough and Stephen O’Flynn. Jamie is best known for his popular and critically acclaimed play - Fighting Irish - which premiered at the Belgrade Theatre during the 2021/22 UK City of Culture programme. Stephen is a talented debut writer who has lived in Spain for over twenty years. They are working with Valencia Stage Society to bring this timely play to audiences in London.
