Festive Fan Making Workshop

The Fan Museum is an accredited, independent museum dedicated entirely to the history, culture and craft of hand-held fans. The museum opened in 1991, in the heart of historic Royal Greenwich.The Fan Museum holds a world-renowned collection of fans and fan leaves which include the splendid Hélène Alexander Collection and further acquisitions, gifts and bequests which have been received since the museum opened to the public.

<H2>Join us at The Fan Museum for a Festive Fan Making Workshop. </H2>
We're hosting two special discounted Fan Making Workshops as part of our Local Community Open Day on Saturday 16th December. The fan making classes will last 1hr 30mins. During the class you will create one folding fan.

<H4>Please bring with you your choice of festive paper to create your fan. (This needs to be a minimum of A3 in size. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring a roll of wrapping paper. It is easier to work with paper which is not shiny.)</H4>

<H4>Ticket price includes admission to The Fan Museum exhibitions. </H4>

Please note this event is only suitable for ages 12+. Visit The Fan Museum on Saturday 16th for free festive fan decorating craft activites for children.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The nearest tube stations are the Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich and Greenwich DLR stations (both approx. 10 min walk)
Parking is available 5 mins from the museum at Burney Street Car Park (charges apply).
 
What do I need to bring to the event?
