Many years ago something happened to the world. Luckily for one community of scientists, they were sealed off in a domed research facility. A century has passed and the Domers have one major concern: how to make the annual Dome Fête one to remember. Grow, splice, build, harvest, and trade resources with other residents of your strange community. The Fête of the World is in your hands.
What to expect:
Each player will be a member of a team representing a 'family' in the community. Some examples might be: The Knitting Circle (old lady detectives), The Bobbies (the village police officers), or the Weasels (the rascals who run the local pub).
Each player will also have a job within the Dome. Examples: Dome Maintenance (keeping the AI online in order to generate resources for the community), Bee Wrangling (sending bees out to explore the world beyond the Dome), or the Village Council.
The game takes place in the weeks leading up to the annual Fête, during which time the community must prepare to make the event as spectacular as possible, while participating in the heats of the Baking Competition, tending to their garden, and dealing with any mysterious events which may arise along the way.
So grab your steam powered secateurs, your radiation resistant baking goggles, and your gingham lab coat, and join us in the cosy apocalypse!
