Field work: Mapping Wysing

A workshop in cartography for kids

Discover how different artists, residents and visitors use the Wysing grounds. Working with studio artist Laura Hindmarsh families will be invited to explore and document some of the unique features of the site. Together we will document the outdoor sculpture installations, trace the paths that people take around the site, spot traces of bird and wildlife and plot the fruit trees in anticipation of summer foraging. After collecting our observations we will work together to create a collaborative site map that visitors will be able to use throughout the remainder of the school holidays.
