Fabrica is a space where everyone can experience art. Through immersive exhibitions and commissions, we introduce visitors to the work of celebrated international and at the same time, we support and commission emerging artists, giving them the financial and creative support to make engaging and thought provoking work. This way, art is always here to surprise, challenge and inspire our communities.Cultural experiences at Fabrica are often immersive, shaped around our Grade II listed building. No prior knowledge of art is needed to step inside, and to engage, enjoy and respond. At Fabrica, our audiences can experience art in other unexpected ways:  through our ever-changing calendar of film screenings, talks, group discussions and community led events. And through a holistic programme of workshops where they might create sculptures, prints, drawings, textiles that supports learning and increases wellbeing. We're continuing to run the school holiday Family Screenings. This spring we are screening a series of wonderful family friendly films in our relaxed space. These are fun and educational events which everyone can enjoy.

In 2023 Fabrica is presenting presenting films with various partners to explore a variety of cinematic work and several themes from a wider perspective.

WALL-E/ 2008 / Subtitled / 1hr&amp;37mins / Rated U As part of <a href="https://www.earthday.org/earth-day-2023/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Earth Day</a> celebrations 2023, we will be enjoying WALL-E, an animated tale about how we must protect earth and its resources. Delivered as part of The Wild Escape, we are exploring and celebrating UK wildlife and creativity this Easter, in the lead up to Earth Day 2023!WALL-E tells the story of a solitary, hopeless looking, but curious robot who is on an uninhabitable Earth who is programmed clean up the mess that humankind has left behind. We follow WALL-E as completes his day to day routine, untill he meets Eve. Eve is another robot sent to Earth, who opens Wall-E&#x27;s eyes to a whole new kind of life... “WALL-E” succeeds at being three things at once: an enthralling animated film, a visual wonderment and a decent science-fiction story... I thought I had just about exhausted my emergency supply of childlike credulity, but here is a film.. that you can enjoy even if you’ve grown up. That it works largely without spoken dialogue is all the more astonishing; it can easily cross language barriers, which is all the better, considering that it tells a planetary story.” Doors &amp; refreshments open at 2pm for a 2.30pm start. Bookings can also be made in person during gallery opening hours by speaking to a member of the gallery team or at Fabrica during office hours (no booking fee applies). Once paid for, tickets are non-refundable.
