Find your Future is a careers and employment fair – bringing together over 50 major employers from a variety of sectors to showcase career opportunities on offer in Central Bedfordshire in an interactive and informative setting.
As well as being able to talk with the experts about what’s out there in terms of jobs and training and what skills are needed to access them, visitors will have the chance to explore work experience, traineeships, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.

talk first hand to employers with live vacancies and apprenticeship opportunities
The day's split into two sessions:

the first session, from 10am to 2pm is primarily aimed at schools - this is not a public session. During this session, there will be 20-minute taster sessions from a variety of local businesses for school groups and specific sessions for those with special educational needs and disabilities.

the second session is a public session from 3pm to 6pm and is for anyone looking for live job opportunities including opportunities for graduates and apprenticeships. It is also an opportunity for parents and carers to attend the event to explore career opportunities with their young people

1-2-1 Employment Support for Young People – information, advice and guidance
Run by 4YP
- Book an individual 10 or 15 minute session
- Ask specific questions relating to your chosen career
- Get advice and guidance, unique to you
Time: 15:45-16:15 or 17:00 – 18:00
CV Writing – max 15 people
1 hour session run by National Careers Service
- Do’s and Don’ts of a CV
- CV evaluation activities
- Writing a personal profile
Time: 15:30-16:30
Mock Interviews and interview preparation – max 15 people
1 hour session run by National Careers Service
- Introduction to body language
- Person specifications and preparing for an interview
- Answers to common questions
Time: 16:30-17:30
