Do you need a break from the constant mind chatter and competing demands on your attention? Do you enjoy being in the great outdoors? Are you longing to slow down and devote more time to your own wellbeing? Are you new to mindfulness and wish to have an immersive experience, or are you looking to reconnect with yourself while surrounded by beautiful woodlands?

This walk is led by experienced mindfulness practitioner Imelda McQuiad as part of our Walking Festival. Join Imelda on this meditative walk to observe more in the world around us, and find techniques to help regulate your thinking and emotions. This walk is suitable for beginners and will include slight incline and woodland walking away from the main paths. This walk is not suitable for wheelchairs, prams or dogs. Aimed at adults. Suitable for age 12+.

Where should I park?

The main car park is located on School Lane. Pay for your parking at the payment machines just before you leave. Cash payments accepted in the Visitor Centre.

Are there toilets on site?

There are 3 toilet blocks near the Visitor Centre at the start of the walk, however, the route will take you into the woodland where there are no toilet facilities.
