Finding Inspiration from Folklore
Thursday Evenings 6.30 - 8.30 pm for five weeks, 22nd January - 19th February 2026.

Explore folklore from around the world, uncover timeless themes, and learn how to weave these rich narratives into your own creative projects. Perfect for writers, artists, poets, musicians and storytellers seeking fresh inspiration!
Tutor : Sandra Ireland
Sandra Ireland is the author of five novels and is currently working on a non-fiction commission about the legend of of Lady Godiva. She has also enjoyed success with poetry, winning the Glasgow Women's Library Bold Types Competition in 2022, and the SAW Dorothy Dunbar trophy in 2016 and 2017. In addition to running creative writing courses in association with Lifelong Learning Dundee, Sandra works with various arts charities to provide therapeutic writing workshops in the community.
