Finding our way home
An afternoon of meditation and dharma reflection with Stephen Fulder
Sunday 22nd March 2026 online 3- 6pm UK time
We are very happy to welcome Stephen Fulder to lead this online afternoon of meditation and dharma reflection for Oxford Insight Meditation. Stephen says:'In these days of conflict and insecurity, it is easy to feel disconnected within and without. In this half-day retreat, we will explore how the dharma can reveal a deep refuge within ourselves that cannot be taken away. The boundless heart and mind that we can discover through dharma practice can help us to rejoin the world and celebrate being at home in it, even if it seems threatening. It can also help us to become peacemakers in our community. Stephen will be bringing some of the insights from his many years of peacemaking in the Middle East.' The afternoon will include meditation guidance and dharma reflections.
Stephen Fulder was born in London in 1946, educated at Oxford University and has a PhD. He is the founder and senior teacher of Tovana (the Israel Insight Society), which is the major Buddhist practice organisation in Israel. Stephen has been teaching intensively for 30 years and has written many books, including his new title: How To Thrive in Hard Times: A Buddhist Manual (Watkins Publishers). He has been engaged in conflict amelioration work in the Middle East for many years.
