++ WORKSHOP FOR BFS MEMBERS ONLY ++
Come along and learn basic fire safety skills in the lead up to this year's Beltane Fire Festival.
Run by Tom Caine, the session will cover the safe dipping and storage of fuels, the role of fire technicians, environmental facors, the proper usage of safety equipment and first aid.
It will be held in the back car park of St Margaret's House, easiest access is via Restalrig Rd or through the ground level of the centre (if coming via London Rd, use the lift down).
Note: This workshop is open to current Beltane Fire Society members only. If you are participating in Beltane 2017, you will be receiving basic training in your group session in the usual way - this workshop is about providing those who are interested in an opportunity for further learning and practice.
Please only book if you are certain you will attend:
Places are limited to make sure those who do come along get as much support and chance to learn as possible. If you book a place, please be sure to come, or to cancel if you can't make it - so we can give your space to another BFS member and make sure as many of us as possible have chance to take part.
We're hoping to run more workshops on a whole host of skills, so if you can't make this one, don't worry!
