Interview Stage of the Firefighter Recruitment process.

You are booking a session to complete the Interview Stage of the Wholetime Firefighter recruitment process with Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service.

YOU MUST BOOK 1 TICKET ONLY, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK MORE THAN ONE TICKET AS THIS WILL REMOVE A SPACE FOR OTHER CANDIDATES.

What to expect on the day

Please report to Reception upon arrival. Your interview will be conducted by a panel comprising two members of staff.

The purpose of the interview is to evaluate your suitability for the role of Firefighter. Throughout the interview, we will be assessing your knowledge, skills, experience, behaviours and motivations against the requirements of the role. We will also be exploring how your approach aligns with our Behavioural Framework and Service Values. We encourage you to provide specific examples from your experiences to demonstrate how you meet the standards and expectations of the role.

Duration

It is expected your interview will last no more than 60 minutes.

• Please wear smart clothing appropriate for a formal interview.
