<H2>Are you a young artist with an idea for a short arts film?</H2>
<P><A HREF="http://www.randomactsmidlands.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Random Acts</A> are looking for young artists between the ages of 16-24 based in the East Midlands to develop creative ideas into professional 2-3 minute short films.</P>
<P>From dance to visual art, animation to spoken word, music to drama, film to video art, all ideas are welcome, no matter how 'random' they are!</P>
<P>You can apply individually or as a group – whatever works for you.</P>
<P>You could get support (from the Rural Media Company) and up to £5k budget to get your film made – the films will then be submitted to Channel 4 for potential broadcast on their online platform and TV strand.</P>
<H2>Getting the support you need to apply</H2>
<P>This event is an exciting opportunity for 16 – 24 year old artists to take part in a day of workshops and discussions led by experts in artists’ and experimental moving image.</P>

<LI>Prepare for your application to the next Random Acts commissions ahead of the <STRONG>28th November</STRONG> submission deadline.</LI>
<LI>Learn about the experience of making Random Acts films from filmmakers who have been through the experience already.</LI>
<LI>Find out what makes a great application from production company <A HREF="https://www.ruralmedia.co.uk/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Rural Media</A>.</LI>

<P>Plus - from 5-6pm, you will be invited to attend the premiere screening of the most recently commissioned Random Acts short films ahead of their Channel 4 broadcast.</P>
<P>This event is limited to just 20 participants, so reserve your space soon!</P>
<H2><STRONG>Please note</STRONG> - you must be aged <STRONG>16-24</STRONG> to be eligible to take part in the workshops and to apply to Random Acts.</H2>
