First Features Q+A

Short Circuit is a new film talent initiative for Scotland delivered by Film City Futures in partnership with Glasgow Film, and supported by Screen Scotland and BFI NETWORK (using funds from the National Lottery).Short Circuit aims to become the key hub for new filmmaking talent in Scotland, supporting writers, directors and producers from across Scotland to develop creatively and professionally, and stimulating the creative and commercial success of Scotland’s film sector.Please note that we may share that information that you include in this form with our partners and funders, for the purposes of managing the project.

<h3>Short Circuit’s First Features scheme will enable Scotland-based filmmakers to take that career-defining step towards making their debut feature.</h3>The scheme is for writing, writing/directing and producing talent from all across Scotland who have bold and compelling fiction projects with theatrical ambition and the potential to resonate with audiences globally.During this Q+A session, those interested in applying for First Features will have the chance to hear directly from the Short Circuit Talent Executives - Alice Whittemore and Mar Vila Barcelo. This is an opportunity to have your questions answered by the Talent Executives and find out everything you need to know about the scheme.This event will be live captioned.
