"Saving the planet is not a competitive issue" - Patagonia
"A company can never achieve its [net-zero] goals without cooperating with partners across its value chain and between companies, governments and organisations. This cannot be done in isolation." - Andreas Ahrens, head of climate at Inter IKEA Group
Business is changing and First Hand is going behind the scenes to examine what this means in practice. In our Spring Edition we're looking at the skills involved in 'Prototyping Alternatives', in this closing session we'll share what we've learned.
We'll build on three previous briefings in this series, in which we:
- made the case for change and specifially openness and collaboration
- identified obstacles to adoption at the scale we need
- introduced our Spring Edition programme of events and curriculum.
Who is this for?
If you're in industry, advocacy, policy, community or education working towards change in a real, material, world this briefing is for you.
If you have attended one or all of our Spring Edition walking tours, this will provide you with key learnings and signpost you to next steps in working more openly, creatively and collaboratively.
If you couldn't make the live events, this is a great opportunity to catch up with what we saw, learned and got inspired by.
Full agenda and a link to join the session will be shared before the event.
