First Steps.. Basic Clinical Skills Course

About: We realise that it can be daunting when you transition from the pre-clinical phase to clinical training on the wards. As such, we are organising a full day of interactive workshops aimed at first year clinical medical students to help improve confidence in core clinical skills. This course will allow you to practice cardio-respiratory, gastrointestinal, neurological examinations on simulated patients and will feature two tutorials on basic data interpretation (CXR + ECG).
Dates: choose between Saturday 7th October 2017 (10:00-17:00) or Sunday 8th October 2017 (10:00 - 17:00)
Location: Gleeson Lecture Theatre, Undergraduate Department, LG Floor, Lift Bank C, Chelsea &amp; Westminster Hospital, 369 Fulham Road, Chelsea, London, SW10 9NH
Cost: £5 (pay on the day; cost to cover lunch and cleaning fees)
