Market engagement event for proposed innovation activity under the Flexibility Innovation Programme – Markets for Flexibility

The up to £65m <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/flexibility-innovation" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Flexibility Innovation Programme</a> seeks to enable electricity system flexibility through smart, flexible, secure, and accessible technologies and markets. The programme is part of the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/net-zero-innovation-portfolio" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Net Zero Innovation Portfolio.</a>
The Department for Energy Security &amp; Net Zero is hosting a market engagement session to inform the design of future innovation activity within the Markets for Flexibility sub-theme of the Flexibility Innovation Programme. Proposed innovation activity would seek to support innovative technical solutions to enable system-wide coordination, standardisation, and revenue stacking across multiple flexibility markets – unlocking flexibility.
