Floating Sound Bath

Float beneath the evening sky at Metheringham’s beautiful Lido. Relax and allow your worries to drift away as you listen to soothing sounds.

Join us for a Floating Sound Bath at Metheringham Lido — a unique opportunity to slow down, switch off and settle into deep rest beneath the evening sky.

Floating beneath the open sky, supported by warm blankets and gentle water movement, this immersive experience invites you to pause and reconnect with yourself in a completely different way. As the evening light begins to soften and the pool settles into stillness, sound and water combine to create a deeply calming atmosphere.

Through sound, we create space for the body and mind to settle — allowing you to fully rest, reset and tune into what feels present for you.

As the evening draws in, this becomes a chance to simply pause, breathe and let yourself be held by the sounds, the water and the atmosphere around you.

The evening will include:
• A short guided settling meditation
• A floating sound bath using a variety of soothing instruments including a gong, tubes and chimes
• Time to rest deeply and switch off from the pressures of everyday life
• The option to float on the water or relax poolside if preferred
• Eye masks and self-heating scented eye masks for anyone who’d like to try them
• Drinks and snacks available to purchase afterwards from the tuck shop

Please bring:
• A blanket and anything else you’d like to help you feel warm and cosy
• Warm, comfortable clothing suitable for relaxing outdoors
• Swimwear underneath if you’d personally feel more comfortable
• Anything else you need to fully relax

Floating beds are provided.

A qualified lifeguard will be present throughout the session, along with a swim buddy in the water to assist if needed.
