Floral & Interior Styling Workshop

Hello and welcome! My name is Nancy I'm a stylist and creative soul living in north east England. I champion real living and I'm also passionate about authenticity and beauty in the everyday.I love teaching and I regularly organise creative workshops and talks based around styling and interiors. I also run a very special event called the “Grounded Creatives Meet Up” where I create a space for creatives in all fields to network and learn from each other. I hope to see you at an event soon!

Do you want to learn the art of styling? Maybe you'd like to take beautifully styled images for your website, blog or Instagram? Do you have a camera but have no idea how to use it? 
If this sounds like you I’m sure you will love this interior and floral styling workshop. You will learn how to create your own hand-tied bouquet, style a beautiful floral display, use visual storytelling in your photography, and will have the opportunity to try your hand at styling a celebration table.
We will focus on prop & interior styling as well as how to prepare a table ready for a beautiful gathering. You will have the chance to style beautiful scenes using your own bouquet of flowers and then learn how to take photos of your work.

- Pip, the owner of the beautiful flower shop The Flower Folk, will teach you how to make your own small hand tied bouquet which can be used in the styling lessons.
- I will then run through how to create the perfect shelfie, a key part of interior styling. Styling a shelf properly can be incredibly tricky to get right but I will teach you all the rules and theory before moving on to the practical side of things.
- You will also learn how to design and style a stunning celebration table to help you host summer gatherings. The tools learnt in this part of the workshop will also come in so handy for Christmas and Easter etc.
- Finally you will have the chance to learn how to use your phone or DSLR camera properly. I’ll share my photo tips so you’ll leave with the knowledge and confidence to shoot your own snaps.

Price £48 per person. You’ll be provided with a notebook, a small floral bouquet to take home and refreshments.
Please make sure you bring your camera or phone. If you have a prop you would like to style please feel free to bring it along on the day.
