A morning of Yoga, Cacao and Sambaddha
Give yourself this beautiful retreat morning to reconnect to the parts of you that desire to slow down, feel and flow with all that is within you.
In today's modern world we often go about our day to day rushed and stressed so it is important now more than ever that we take intentional time to slow down and reconnect with our body, our hearts and eachother.
When we do this we are able to drop into a calm state and begin healing the many layers of our being - the physical, mental, emotional, relational and spiritual.
How the day will look-
- 9am Arrival and Opening Circle
- 9:30am Embodied Yoga session with Laura
- 10am Cacao Ceremony
- 11am Sambaddha
- 11:30 Closing Circle
Sambaddha is a transformational practice that blends movement, sound, breath, shaking and emotional expression as a way to come back to a sense of wholeness.
Cacao is a sacred heart-opening plant medicine used within ceremonies since ancient times as a way to reconnect to your inner wisdom and the reciprocity and abundance of Mother Earth.
Embodied Yoga is a practice of coming home to yourself. Through movement, breath, sensation, and stillness, it invites you to reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom, intuition, pleasure, and healing.
Your retreat hosts-
JOY Retreat - A luxury yurt experience created by the wonderful Corrine and Pedram Padidar. A space that honors nature and the land, offering respite from the modern world.
Cathie Anders - Cacao ceremony and Sambaddha facilitator.
Laura Bechelet - Yoga and Wellness faciliator.
Things to know and bring-
- Comfortable clothes to move in
- Notepad and pen
- Water
- Prepare yourself for Cacao by avoiding caffine in the morning and eating breakfast to avoid an empty stomach.
- ***Cacao can negetively interact with some medications so if you are currently taking antidepressants (especially MAOIs), stimulant medications, or medication for a heart condition or blood pressure - please consult your GP before participating in a ceremonial cacao experience. (Please know we can offer you a herbal tea instead)
- Parking is either on the road side, down on the main road or there are two spaces outside the gate. Please no parking inside the gate.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can begin on time.
- We have mats, blocks, bolsters and straps. Feel free to bring any of your own equipment. Please bring your own blanket if you wish to use one.
