Please bring a yoga mat and wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move in. All experience levels are welcome, whether it’s your first time or part of your regular routine.

Instructor:

Rose, also known as Black Rose Yogini (As seen on the BBC), is a yoga teacher based in Birmingham. Her main areas of interest are restorative yoga, womb yoga and intuitive movement.

Rose’s teaches Egyptian yoga also known as Kemetic yoga, a relaxing, revitalising and regenerative type of yoga. She believes that yoga allows us to connect to ourselves on a deeper level. Making time to go inwards and heal can help us leap forwards.

Speaker:

Dr Tejumola Olaoye is a subspecialty fellow in gynaecological oncology at the Pan-Birmingham Gynaecological Cancer Centre – Midland Metropolitan Hospital. She is currently undertaking a doctorate at the University of Birmingham along side her clinical work, where her research focuses on improving outcomes for women with gynaecological cancers, particularly in diverse populations.

With over a decade of clinical experience and a Postgraduate Certificate in Genomic Medicine, Dr Olaoye is passionate about equitable access to women’s healthcare. She has published widely on ovarian and cervical cancers and is committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to navigate the healthcare system effectively.
