Loki Music

Named as a parody of John Dowland's famous song 'Flow my tears', this is an 'open mic' session for performers of early music at all levels. Led by the radio presenter and lute fanatic Stephanie Feeney - assisted by local musician William Summers - this the first time that this innovative event has migrated from Barbican to Kingston.  Entry is free, but anyone wanting to play is requested to obtain a free ticket - below - to give some idea of numbers of players and singers [pitch: A=440].
LIsteners are welcome too, and everyone is welcome to fetch a drink whenever they like. During the evening, a short documentary about Stephanie's life will be shown; this will include details of the life-changing childhood injury and the beneficial effects of music in helping her cope with this. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
All attendees must be old enough to drink in a pub. 
 
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Public transport is recommended: the pub is ten minutes walk from Kingston train and bus stations. 
 
What can I bring into the event?
Please bring an instrument and be prepared to sing or play a piece of early music - pitched at A=440 if you wish to work with others [impromptu jamming encouraged!]. Otherwise, please just turn up to listen, drink and watch the film.
 
What's the refund policy?
No refunds offered.
