F*Mas Returns!

By F*Choir

Overview

An Open Session + F*Mas Sing

It’s tiiiiime! …To F* tradition and get those cosy winter vibes the F*Choir way. Join us at SET Peckham for an afternoon and evening of collective vocal power.

Tickets are live now. We usually sell out early, so grab ‘em while you can.

More details to follow, but here’s a brief outline of what you’re in for.

OPEN SESSION

A chance to connect, reflect, and play together during an afternoon of embodied vocal and physical practice.

Our last session of the year, and it has a special twist. Assistant Choir Leader Bianca Stephens will lead a vocal and somatic warm up, then teach you a song from F*Choir’s repertoire. If you can join for our F*mas gig that evening, you will be invited onstage to sing the song you learned with us!* There will be a break between the open session and the gig, so you can change / prep.

*This is not compulsory to attend the Open Session. Make sure you have a ticket to both events to join in.

F*MAS GIG

Winter is here. We’re packed tightly into our nests, humming and tapping until we burst into the warmth of collective song. Fresh from our autumn tour with Beverly Glenn-Copeland and Elizabeth Glenn-Copeland, we’re imbued with new wisdom, thinking about time as opportunity, ready to share it with you.

We’re offering an intimate, relaxed gig to end the year. Settle in to hear lots of your favourite tunes, alongside a few new offerings. It’s set to be a classic.

F*Choir is a 70-strong, queer-led ensemble that radically reimagines what choral singing can be - bold, high-energy, full-body music that celebrates collective liberation, joy, and embodied resistance. Founded by composer and multidisciplinary artist Jenny Moore, co-run with Bianca Stephens and Sophie Chapman , the choir rejects traditional music methods, drawing instead on the work of criminally underrepresented women, trans, non-binary, and queer artists. At its core, F*Choir is about claiming the right to our own voices as people who have been historically marginalised and excluded.

Having captivated audiences across the UK and beyond, F*Choir has performed sold out gigs at iconic venues such as Milton Court - programmed by the barbican, EartH Hackney, Bishopsgate Institute, Wellcome Collection and the MOTH Club.

Audience feedback from our sold-out barbican show:

“F*Choir took us on a profound song journey of magic realism with raw emotions & colourful surprises”

“It wasn’t just an auditory experience - the high I felt was visual, somatic, existential… every single cell of mine felt seen."

"F*Choir is one of the most radical and hope-giving choirs I’ve ever witnessed… genderless, borderless songs that champion the earth, our bodies, our rage, and our desperate will to breathe against the machine."
