FMC Rockpool Ramble

Our main aim is to connect and enable people to engage with the marine environment by offering access to the ocean (e.g. guided snorkel sessions), fun activities (e.g. rockpooling), and helping with conservation through citizen science (e.g. boat monitoring). These empower people with new knowledge, boosting ocean literacy and confidence.

Join us for a fun and educational adventure at Gyllyngvase Beach on Saturday, 28th June, at 1:50 pm!Embark on an exciting Rockpool Ramble with our knowledgeable local guides and explore the captivating world of rockpools. Discover fascinating marine life, uncover hidden creatures, and learn about the diverse ecosystem of the rocky shore. The event is open to everyone - whether you’re a seasoned nature lover, a curious explorer, or a first-time adventurer, you’ll be amazed by the underwater wonders that await you.What to Bring:<ul><li>Suitable Clothing: The coast can be breezy, so don’t forget to bring layers to stay comfortable.</li><li>Sturdy Footwear: Be sure to wear sturdy shoes that can handle the rocky shore and wet conditions.</li></ul> Meeting Location: Please meet us by the lifeguard hut at Gyllyngvase Beach. Important Information: All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
