About this event
Focus from the Outset provides tailored support to unemployed or inactive individuals who want to explore the personal attributes they need to run their own business. In the process you may discover that you'd prefer employment, or more education or training. We'll help you with that too.
Participants can join friendly, small-group workshops and get 1:1 input from an advisor to help with the decisions you need to make about employment, self-employment or education and training.

As we are a funded project, we ask that when you sign up for our training sessions, you agree to participate fully in the programme
Eligibility criteria apply as this programme is only available to people who live in specific postcode areas.

Focus from the Outset offers a programme of tailored advice and support to help people in West Cornwall and the Coast to Coast area return to active employment or self-employment through a personalised, bespoke package of 1:1 support and small, targeted group sessions.
Thanks to funding from the European Regional Development Fund, European Structural Investment Fund and the Outset Foundation, the Focus from the Outset programme empowers people to take charge of their lives through restoring self-esteem and confidence to overcome barriers, and to give individuals the skills and knowledge they need to be work-ready.
