The root causes of unhappiness, if it concerns our relationships, our physical health, our mental health, our stress levels, anxiety or depression are in our unconscious mind.
They stem from the habitual responses that have been hard wired into us, usually from a very young age. We cannot think our way out of them.
Focussed mindfulness (FM) gives us the tools to change this hard wiring and become more emotionally balanced.
These tools are cutting edge, developed from the teachings of the world’s pioneers in emotionaly healing. they are simple quick and powerful, they literally change your way of being from the inside out.
The practice of Focussed Mindfulness is an excellent complement to a traditional mindfulness practice. It involves turning our open, non-judgemental attention to a sensation in the body and then gazing deeper to explore any feeling at its core. This exploration allows us to become aware of some unresolved emotional pain, trauma or self-denial that we are holding, possibly deeply buried in our unconscious. We then employ processes to address, heal and release this pain, leaving us feeling free, joyful and empowered. From this perspective we gain insight into ourselves and others and see a healthier way of being.
It is a deep, direct and secular practice which brings about a healthier perspective to life, relationships and work.
This talk will be friendly, supportive and interactive. it will give you an experience of the practice and the opportunity to explore how it can be part of your life - either in your own healing journey, as a health practitioner or you might consider becoming a licenced guide.
