About this event

Scottish artist Abbie Lois will help you bring folklore stories to life in our three-hour lino print workshop here at Òr on Thursday 25th September. You'll have the opportunity to print your very own folklore-inspired design onto an artwork or tote bag.

Abbie is one of our wonderful artists here at Òr who specialises in creating artworks that tell ancient stories, from mythical selkies to warrior goddesses. We're delighted to be hosting this workshop alongside her.

To inspire your design, Abbie will be bringing along plenty of reference books and artworks on Gaelic myths, legends, and folk stories and lyrics surrounding our magical, misty Isle of Skye.

We'll be providing plenty of fizz throughout the evening as well as lots of homemade treats, including our Anna's famous cinnamon buns! You'll also receive a few little gifts from us to thank you for your support.
