Local author Cary-anne Hornsey will present a talk on native wild plants, explaining their nutritional and healing properties and associated Folklore.

Cary-anne lives in Essex and her book "Foraging and Folklore" will be for sale at the event. She runs an on-line community at www.cary-annehornsey.com/the-magic-of-nature.

There will be time afterwards for a Q&A, and tea and biscuits.

Please park at the back of the Hall.

This event is part of the Manningtree Earth Festival 2026 – a 5-week celebration of environmental action running from May 23 to June 30. Most events are free and volunteer led so if you can please donate when you sign up to the event.
