At the heart of Blossom is the desire for people to be positive, happier and healthier. Blossom offers food growing support, Wellbeing workshops, opportunities to learn to cook. We maintain the beautiful horticultural centre in Wythenshawe Park nurturing the rare and unique planting, many of which are endangered in the wild. A love of nature, the environment and sharing how lifestyle changes  can impact climate crisis motivates Blossom  to share greener ways of living.

Barbara Wilkinson Consultant Medical herbalist will lead the FORAGING WORKSHOP Barbara is an advocate of cultivating the use of plants in everyday life and keen to empower people with the confidence to embrace food as medicine. Discover the natural world at your feet by identifying everyday wild flowers and herbs that have wide ranging medicinal uses. Based in South Manchester in gorgeous Wythenshawe Park we offer volunteering opportunities and workshops, the team at Blossom:• Provide a sense of community and purpose.• Share resourcefulness and creativity to reduce carbon footprint and address climate change.• Teach strategies to combat food insecurity and promote greener lifestyles.• Show practical ways to alleviate household budgets.• Growing and cooking seasonal food - Healthy affordable cooking to reverse fast food trend and impact food poverty.We aim to promote the wellbeing of people and the planet through positive activity, reconnecting people with the food we eat, enjoyment of nature and protect and promote biodiversity.
