About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

Join us for a 6-hour hands-on seasonal foraging workshop that gets you back into the heart of nature!

We'll start our session off with a lovely slow paced walk through the local area where a vibrant array of local flora and fauna awaits your exploration. As we gather an impressive variety of foraged ingredients, your knowledgeable host, Kayleigh, will share essential identifying characteristics and safe foraging practices, all while weaving captivating stories that bring the plants to life.

Once we return to our cosy yurt, you’ll slip on your apron, crack out your pestle and mortar and unleash your creativity to craft delightful culinary masterpieces from our seasonal harvest. Together, we’ll dive into the remarkable medicinal properties of the plants and reveal their nutritional benefits, embracing slow living.

By the end of this inspiring experience, you’ll walk away with a thoughtfully prepared goodie bag filled with your delicious creations, ready to impress and delight at home. Be sure to wear sturdy walking shoes, bring a notepad for capturing your insights, and pack a good coat to embrace the beautiful unpredictability of English weather!

Only 6 spaces available per class so don’t miss out on this opportunity to elevate your foraging skills!
