Forces of Nature/ Grymoedd Natur is our after school club. It's free and open to all primary and nursery age children and their parents/ carers. Come and join us for an exciting mix of weekly storytelling, crafts, activities, gardening, games and cookery in our green and friendly community garden in the heart of Splott. All children taking part can claim a free snack and drink from Things on Toast cafe on site
Good to know...
- Forces of Nature goes ahead in wet and cold weather as we have a beautiful and cosy outdoor classroom to use.
- Railway Gardens is an accessible site, and we have an accessible toilet with baby changing.
- Parents need to stay for the duration of the club. Younger and older siblings are welcome to come along.
- All children can claim a snack (toast and a topping) and a squash from Things on Toast cafe on site - the cafe also offers affordable home cooked snacks and hot food as well as hot and cold drinks available to grown ups to purchase. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink of course!
- Forces of Nature pauses during school holidays but keep an eye out for our holiday events!
- The Club is free to all but if you feel able to make a small donation this helps up keep running activities like there. You can also become a Friend of Railway Gardens if you wish to make a regular contribution.
Registration is optional but lets us send you a handy email reminder. When you register you'll be added to our Railway Gardens mailing list and receive our newsletter every 2 months. You can of course unsubscribe from this at any time.
