Maria is an ANFT Certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide and Coach, EcoNidra Teacher, Therapetic writing teacher, story weaving facilitator and Mindfulness/ Compassion Teacher.She is the founder of Mindful Connections where she facilitates both individual, group and private experiences to help increase balance, stillness and much needed rest.She works with public groups, 1:1 individualised coaching & mentoring and private teams to help promote  wellbeing, balance and resilience.After a period of work related burn out in 2001 and 2002, Maria found a path to her own restoration during a solo journey along the West Coast of Ireland.She is dedicated to helping  others find their own balance, stillness and rediscovery through the healing power of Nature and Connection, natural silence and self care practices.

Our wellbeing wanders in Nature, (be it deep within a woodland or along our beaches and seashores) , offer a real chance to slow down, ignite our senses and connect with our natural environments and our own true nature.

A guided nature and forest therapy experience, enabling you to step out of your busy life and feel the tensions melt away as you start slowing down your mind and body, mirroring the nature around us.Welcome back to first Forest Bathe for the season. Spring at this tranquil woodland is a fabulous time to really experience and feel the power of this wellbeing wander.Over the 2.5 to 3 hour session you will offered a variety of activities, designed to help deepen your relations with your inner essence and the natural world that surrounds you.This is a real opportunity to simply pause and breathe. We encourage you to be technology free, demand free and guide you to a sense of timeless flow.This is not a hike, we do not actually walk that far, it is also not a nature class.It is a beautiful morning of slow, calm and stillness, I personally feel this time rebalances, restores and revitalises me.When we connect with nature, we connect with our own true nature.John Muir said” In every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks.”There is lots of scientific studies now around forest bathing / shinrin yoku and the benefits that bathing in the phytoncides of the trees naturally give us - including increasing our NK cells, rebalancing blood pressure and reducing our stress response.

Cancellation policyIn the event of needing to cancel your place, you can do so by informing us by email.Full refunds offered up to 48 hours prior to the event. Less than 48 hours, you will be offered a Free attendance on one of other events. This is not transferable. In the event of bad weather we may postpone the event and offer you an alternative date.We usually run groups between 6 - 10 people - should less than 6 people be booked on any event, we may take the decision to cancel. In this eventuality, a full refund will be offered or a transfer to another date.
