Taking time out in Nature to ground and step into your senses is very healing to our whole being and our relationships to each other and the world.Feelings of connection, joy, peace and gratitude cannot be underestimated in the effect they have on inspiring an uplifted perspective on our lives and the opened hearted sharing that radiates out to all beings we contact when we are experiences these states of being.Sending warmest wishes of health and happiness to you all.Emma23rd February  2021, Coronavirus updateWith the current situation we still find ourselves in I will continue to take all precautions advised by the NHS and our Government.Under current government guidelines we can still meet for wanders /forest Bathing in our local area as they fall in the following category due to their therapeutic nature.“Support groups that have to be delivered in person can continue with up to 15 participants where formally organised to provide mutual aid, therapy or any other form of support – but they must take place at a premises other than a private home.”

Wanders for well-being are guided gentle walks incorporating optional invitations to enable you to relax and quieten your busy mind so you can receive the medicine and wisdom of the natural environment.
First we will gather and shake off the road dust. I will invite you to step through a gateway and leave behind your burdens and responsibilities for the next couple of hours as we step into the moment, savouring with all our senses the atmosphere of the woods or the gardens at Dartington. I will help you to awaken your senses and creative muse with a series of carefully crafted invitations culminating in a simple tea ceremony.
The route will be no more than a mile, the terrain generally gentle and suitable for all levels of fitness. This is not a hike or a nature walk where we identify species. It is an opportunity to be fully present in your senses, experiencing the forest from an authentic place of heart with the curiosity of a child. It is deeply relaxing and playful experience as you tune into the plant and animal world with the senses our ancestors used to thrive and survive.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Plenty of parking at Dartington hall. <A HREF="https://moovitapp.com/index/en-gb/public_transportation-Dartington_Hall_Estate_and_Gardens_Dartington_Hall_Totnes-South_West-site_45753135-2106" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Regular county bus service</A>. 
There has been a change to parking at dartington. Fees are now due from 9am-6pm
The car parks now have a number plate recognition system. You can pay by cash or card at the meters.
Fees are currently 1hr /£1, 2hr/£2, 3hrs/£2.50, 4hrs/3.50, all day £6.
If you are a regular visitor to the estate it maybe more economical to buy annual membership with a parking permit. What do i need to bring for the wander?
suitable clothes and footwear for the weather. a folding stool if standing for over 10 minutes is challenging.
water to drink. 
long trousers boots and socks as it's tick season

 Where do we meet?
I will email you a few days before the wander with directions on where to meet me and any extra info about the terrain we are walking. 
Please text me your mobile number so I can reach you in the event of severe weather or illness forcing me to cancel the walk. In the event of cancellation I will offer an alternative date or give you a full refund.
 
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need to print a ticket.
