Our Forest, an organisation developed from the Foresters’ Forest National Lottery Heritage Funded Programme, hosts two forums each year focused on key topics relevant to the local community. These forums aim to foster stronger connections between organisations, community groups, and local projects.
The upcoming forum, "Working Together in Our Forest", will be focussed on a variety of organisations, sharing insights into their responsibilities, how they support community initiatives, and outline how they are funded. The event is designed to bring together like-minded local individuals and groups to exchange ideas, build relationships, and lay the groundwork for future collaborations.
The forum will also feature case studies demonstrating how collaboration between organisations has already made a positive impact in the Forest area.
The ultimate goal of the event is to encourage networking and knowledge-sharing, with the hope that new partnerships will emerge that can strengthen local projects and improve outcomes across the region. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of who’s doing what in the Forest, how they can get involved, and where to turn for support.
Whether you’re part of an established organisation, a grassroots project, or simply passionate about your local area, this forum is a great chance to connect, learn, and collaborate for the benefit of Our Forest.
