Project 31 is an innovative, Scottish Charitable IncorporatedOrganisation (SCIO) which seeksto enrich the experiences ofchildren and their families by engaging them in high quality,appropriate play and recreational activities which promote theirright to freely participate in cultural life and the arts andsupport the strengthening of community and family connections.

Forest School for Kids is for children and young people aged 6-12 years attending without a parent/carer.
We enjoy lots of free play, den building, natural arts and crafts, campfires, tool use and much more besides whilst enjoying the great outdoors!  It's a brilliant opportunity to have fun with friends, make some new ones and learn some really cool skills!!
Forest School provides opportunities to learn about the natural environment, self assess and handle risks, use initiative to solve problems and co-operate with others.  Forest School includes the supervised use of tools, fire, water play and promotes safe risk taking.  
Our sessions take place in a designated site at Holmhills Wood Community Park, meeting at Holmhills Grove. Please wear clothes and footwear suitable for the weather.  We recommend long sleeves are worn and legs are covered. 
Sessions are free of charge but donations are always welcome.
