UK Chinese Art Centre is a nonprofit organization registered in the UK. Its mission is to disseminate Chinese Culture, and to promote performance art, visual art, contemporary art, traditional art and the interpretation of Chinese culture exchanges between the UK and China.UK Chinese Art Centre now showcases some of the leading artists based in the UK and with Chinese background. It has accumulated a wealth of experience and made great progress in its development through the art talents. UK Chinese Art Centre hopes to develop and create opportunities for all artists who love Chinese culture. It holds a number of attractive events- gala, exhibition, workshop, lecture, and training.

2017 is a year of significance in China-UK diplomatic relations. It marks the 67th anniversary of Britain formally recognising the People’s Republic of China and the 45th anniversary of the full diplomatic relations. It also furthers the development of the “Golden Era”. To celebrate this, UK Chinese Art Centre is organising an evening show , Forever Friends: an evening extravaganza celebrating the 45th anniversary of establishment of China-UK ambassadorial relations.The event is in collaboration with overseas Chinese associations, overseas Chinese business, education and cultural communities.
The show consists of a variety of acts with Chinese and British characteristics such as dance, poetry reading, Peking opera, instrumental music, performance by children, acrobatics, Wushu and Tai Chi, telling the story about China-UK history and culture. It ties in line with President Xi’s “One Belt, One Road” Initiative to help further the development of the “Golden Era” and tell one more story about China to the world. The show is being produced in collaboration with both Chinese and British partner organisations in the UK. It is an extraordinary show of excellent quality, high standard and variety.
