AMP works with strategic partners to deliver high quality music-making activities for children and young people across rural North Yorkshire.   Working across a wide range of music genres and styles our projects enable young people to access learning and performance opportunities with highly skilled artists and develop new musical, personal and social skills.

We're delighted to invite you to our FORGE IGNITE Networking event for youth workers,, teachers and creative practitioners passionate about children and young people's creative and cultural lives. Come and meet fellow teachers, artist-practitioners, cultural leaders who are committed to developing creative and cultural opportunities with, by and for children and young people both in and out of schools. We welcome people from all settings and levels of experience. The event will include exciting speakers, space for discussion and opportunities to share information, insights and experience. Presentations from: •	Charlotte Craig, Assistant Curator from Craven Museum -	Discussion about the engagement offer for children and young people at Skipton Town Hall and an update about future opportunities. •	Danielle Daglan, Head of Culture and Archives for North Yorkshire Culture-	A presentation about the newly launched Cultural Strategy for North Yorkshire and areas of particular focus over the coming year. Central to which will be the development of support for the cultural sector and how creative practitioners have the right support, tools and resources to thrive in North Yorkshire. •	Plus more, including a presentation from the Education sector discussing the importance of embedding creative learning in the curriculum. Delegates in attendance will be invited to give a short update about their own news so this is an excellent opportunity to share with other local colleagues. Refreshments will be provided.
