Field Works is the 4th iteration of the Trellis programme, growing art from teams of artists, UCL researchers, and east London communities. Visit the exhibition until 1 April 2024 at Hoxton Hall www.ucl.ac.uk/trellis

"So I have to go to college, choose courses to set me up for the rest of my life – and you have to decide that in Year 11 when you’re 15 – great!"Fortuna is the story of four young women in the East London school system. Beginning at the 2012 Olympics, we follow the women across 10 years, from optimistic primary school dreamers to young adults in a global pandemic. Each must answer the delicate questions of Who am I? and Who do I want to be? while facing the pressures, responsibilities, and injustices of the British education system. It is an epic story of the many paths a life can take.Fortuna was based on interviews conducted with young people between 2010 and 2022 and has been devised with students and performers connected to East London.
