Foundations of Philosophical Enquiry Two Day Training Course

What is Foundations of Philosophical Enquiry (PhiE)?
Foundations of Philosophical Enquiry looks in-depth at the theory and practice of facilitating philosophical enquiries with children and young people. If you want to help children and young people learn to think better through philosophy, whilst also deepening your own philosophical thinking, this is for you. It is a thorough and enjoyable combination of theory and practice, and is suitable for those new to P4C (Philosophy for Children) as well as those who have experience. It is highly recommended for:
- Teachers and educators
- Students of Philosophy
- Facilitators in any field
- Workshop leaders
- People who want to have and faciltate better discussions
This course is open to individuals, teachers and practitioners. No background in philosophy or teaching experience is necessary to join us on this course.
When?
The course takes place over 2 days on Saturday 31st Janaury and Sunday 1st Febraury 2026. You must attend both days in order to complete the course.
