CodeBase Stirling

We’re keeping it simple: useful conversations, meaningful connections, and a few treats to help you through the day. Whether you’re just getting started or deep in the build stage, this is a great opportunity to branch out and engage with people who truly understand the ups and downs of building something from scratch. The session kicks off with relaxed networking over hot drinks and picky bits. Then we’ll hear from a visiting Entrepreneur in Residence during a Fireside Chat - no slides, no panel, just a real and honest conversation about the tricky (and often emotional) parts of being a founder. There’ll be time for Q&A afterwards, so bring your questions. Next, we’ll break into small group roundtables where you can talk through what you’re working on, ask for advice, offer feedback, or just hear how others are approaching similar challenges. After that, you’re welcome to stick around for the day. We’ve got free hotdesking available, plus bookable 1:1 Office Hours with CodeBase's Entrepreneur in Residence and our Community Manager. It’s a great way to get tailored support, dig into something specific, or explore how Techscaler might be able to support your next steps. Office Hours booking links will be shared ahead of the event! To round things off, we’ll head to the pub nearby for a casual end-of-day social. It’s completely optional, but a great way to keep the conversation going and meet more of the local Stirling startup community. Who’s it for? 20 minute fireside chat plus a 10 minute Q&A. Hannah Mercer is an Entrepreneur in Residence at CodeBase and ex-founder of DragonflAI, an edge AI startup that outsourced computation from cloud to edge devices to reduce computing costs and liability in relation to abuse imagery. With a background in mathematics, she now helps early-stage start-ups navigating fundraising, tech strategy, and AI ethics. Her aim is to support founders in general, chat through problems and share ideas - including her own.
