<h3>Join us after gallery hours for a late-night viewing and drinks reception on Thursday 4 May celebrating the opening of our latest exhibition &#x27;Frames &amp; Facades&#x27; by artists Agustin Coll and Arina Orlova.</h3>Agustin Coll and Arina Orlova, fellow artists that studied at UAL, Camberwell College of Arts, are exhibiting together in their adopted South London to explore the characters that populate myths and the metropolis. FRAMES &amp; FACADES — is a selection of works, some never shown before, displayed together at Curious Kudu Gallery, a stalwart of the Peckham art and food scene.<a href="https://www.instagram.com/augustinecoll/?hl=en" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">AGUSTIN</a> is bringing in his enigmatic hand-drawn architectural characters, which combine plans and elevations with the history and identity of place into one Escher-like image. He starts in South London, reimagining iconic buildings as creatures between the insect and the humanoid; then takes the Tube at worm-like stations to alight at the other side of the Thames with reinterpretations of classic and obscure landmarks: from Tower Bridge to the V&amp;A and more. The metropolis comes alive under his subversive drawing board.<a href="https://www.arinaorlova.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">ARINA</a> is interested in defining what myth means to the contemporary individual, tapping into sources of legend from the recent past – golden era Hollywood films – and seeing them evolve to meet the internet- era gaze. She likes to reframe the heroes and heroines of the globalised subconscious and juxtapose them with religious iconography from her native Russia: from Rutger Hauer’s redeeming replicant to King Kong’s obsessions.
