CCUK Fraud Summit brings together representatives from sectors such as telecoms and banking, as well as regulators, law enforcement bodies.

Comms Council UK represents second Fraud Summit - an event which brings together representatives from sectors such as telecoms and banking, as well as regulators, law enforcement bodies, and civil servants to share insights on how to tackle fraud effectively.

Throughout the day, representatives from Ofcom, Home Office, Trading Standards, CCUK member companies and more will be joining our sessions and panels.

9:45 – 10:00 Year to Date – Fraud Charter and our work since the last summit

10:00 – 11:00 Art of the Possible: International Joining the Dots
This session focuses on two major fraud-prevention tools currently at the centre of industry and regulatory attention: traceback, led by ITG, and comprehensive Do Not Originate (DNO) lists, presented by Somos.

This session explores real frontline fraud cases and the increasingly complex and often international scams. Building on real life cases, the panel will examine how industry and enforcement bodies can better share intelligence on bad actors, their methods, and associated phone numbers.
